Apologies for the lateness of this week's Substack. I was on vacation for Thanksgiving and didn't get the chance to write something this past Sunday.
I do want to update those who receive my Substack by email that I made an update to The Judicial System Isn't About Making You Happy. It was to correct that Kyle Rittenhouse had, in fact, legally possessed the firearm he had with him in Kenosha and that the judge dismissed the illegal weapons charge. I apologize for the error.
Also, with the 2021 NFL season winding down, I'll begin reviewing the cap situations for certain NFL teams and go over what each team likely needs to do.
A few NFL teams are projected to be over the cap and will have some major decisions to make about the roster, while others will be tight on cap space and might have to do some adjustments to their rosters.
However, a few are going to be in good position for the 2022 offseason, but these teams have important decisions to make at certain positions.
Therefore, for those who are interested in NFL caponomics and what the teams have to do to manage the cap, you'll be getting plenty of that in the coming weeks.
In the meantime, I am exploring the possibility of adding another newsletter on Wednesday nights. I do want to see if I can work that into my schedule, but this will allow me to provide you with the newsletter on a more frequent basis.
I appreciate those who have subscribed to Bob's Tidbits via email and hope that others who have read my pieces will do the same. This is particularly true because email allows us to have discourse without somebody determining whether or not it's appropriate to discuss.
I believe in the open exchange of ideas, regardless of the topic, and that sometimes you have to confront an opinion that may not be what you want to hear. I have found that Substack is a good place to do that and getting my newsletter via email is a good way to ensure you don't miss an issue, regardless of the topic I discuss.
I am keeping the newsletter free for now, but the more people who subscribe, the more likely I will be able to expand in the future, and potentially offer something exclusive to subscribers.
I appreciate those who have read my work and hope you will continue to do so. In the meantime, if you haven't signed up via email, please consider doing so.
