Update 11/3/24 (Afternoon)

Notes about what's to come next.

Wanted to get a quick note to subscribers about what’s being planned for the coming days.

This Wednesday, I’ll be talking about the 2024 election results. Obviously, a Presidential election is a significant event, but I want to get my thoughts out as quickly as possible. Of course, the way the news cycle goes these days, we’ll probably get a bunch of election-related developments in the days after Wednesday. Still, it will be a chance for me to churn out quick thoughts and try to get back other topics.

In the coming weeks, I plan to write more about NFL teams and what decisions await them this offseason. The obvious candidate I’ll start with is the Saints, who just lost to the lowly Panthers Sunday and are clearly needing to blow things up. I’ll have more to say next week.

I will then look at other teams who are likely needing to re-set this offseason or who have to make decisions given potential cap issues.

If other topics come along the way that I have something to say about, I’ll mention them. While I didn’t plan on this Substack being all about politics, like I said earlier, I suspect there will be a lot of election-related developments after the election, regardless of who wins.
